As, we have already noted Samsung has launched Galaxy Grand, which features a low resolution 5-inch display and 1.2GHz dual-core processor. Now the company has announced another Galaxy Grand, this one featuring a 1.4GHz quad-core processor and LTE support. The handset is destined for South Korea.

The South Korea-bound Galaxy Grand features a 5-inch display with a resolution of 800 x 480 (WVGA), the same as its currently-available counterpart. RAM is also the same at 1GB, as well as the battery at a decent 2,100mAh. There’s an 8-megapixel rear camera, as well as a 2-megapixel front camera for video chatting.

The internal memory is a decent 8GB, but can be expanded via a micro SD card slot with support for up to 64GB. Connectivity includes Bluetooth 4.0 and NFC with S Beam. There’s the Touch-wiz user interface, as well as the multi-window feature to go along with the large screen size. The handset runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

Because the handset is destined for South Korea, it also features T-DMB, bringing television to users’ smartphones. Likewise there’s LTE support. Samsung hasn’t stated whether this version of the Galaxy Grand will find its way to shelves outside South Korea, but the hardware boost certainly makes the already decent handset even more appealing.

of this blog. It's simple, yet effective. A lot of times it's tough to get that "perfect balance" Ƅetween usability and visual appeal.
